Pictures of a tomahawk I was asked to do for the U.S. Army.

I am honored that the U.S. Army asked me to do this tomahawk for one of their soldiers. It is a modified Cold Steel Pipe Hawk. The actual haft of the tomahawk was made to resemble
a tree limb shedding bark with the words "Warrior 6" carved into the wood on both sides. The top of the head also features mirror polished vine filework. It was such a humbling experience
that they asked me to start doing these tomahawks. The words "Warrior 6" was the soldiers call tag from his tours in Iraq. I had permission from them to share this so I figured I would share it here. Pictures and a video is below.

I've just gotta show this to my dad, he spent 12yrs with the army .( both regular and a few years in the reserves ) he had an eye unjust that stopped him from ending up in desert storm , he's proud to have served .
 
What is the occasion that they are commemorating? Awesome work on the hawk! I am impressed
