I've had some requests to post pictures of this thing so here it is!
I built this grinder from junk. The frame is made from square steel tubing I got from an old metal desk. It has an 8inch replacement Grizzly contact wheel, idler wheel and shaft made by Rob Frink. The motor is an open frame 2hp from HarborFreight with a "Pantyhose air filter"
I've only ground 2-3 blades on it so far and it works great!
Maybe this will inspire some other fledgeling bladesmiths to build there own too!
Thanks,
Derek Melton
