Thought I'd share pictures of my burgeoning collection.

The BAS was from a DOTD a few days ago, and the AK is a $70 blem I feel that I "stole" from Yangdu (the blem is no scabbard, karda, or chakma). Both by Bura.
The WWII is by Sher, and the Kerambit is by Kumar.

Just think, a month ago I didn't have any Khukris.

UHHHH OHHHHH!!! looks like somebody has HIKV :D
sweet pics thanks for sharing youre off to a good start...
4 months ago i started with just 1 khuk and now i have over 80 :)
there is no cure ;)

Nice (start of) collection.

Those villager horn handles make my buffing wheel itch.

Are those Para-Ordnance khuks in the last 2 pics? (the ones with the funny chos, flanking the kerambit)

The commander is a heavily customized Springfield Armory, and the full-size is a custom-built Novak.

I shot my friend's customized 1911 a few years ago. After that, shooting a normal pistol just wasn't the same.

Pray tell, why does your buffing wheel itch when you see the villagers?

I love 'em. I don't feel guilty about getting them dirty. The AK, on the other hand . . . it's so shiny, I'm afraid to chop with it, even though that's what it's built for.
I say, go villager!

I've got to say though, Bura's handles feel GREAT!
I don't feel the need no round them; they are angled, and don't bite my hand like the others do.

Strobengh, I've taken some villager horn handles and sanded/buffed the horn. It's incredible how it brings out the depth and feathering.

Has nothing to do with them getting dirty. I use mine hard, scratch em, clean em up, use em again. That's what they're for.

I favor villagers over the 'finished' versions, myself.

that's how you know the fatigue's settin in. i read "i shot my friend" instead. hah.

knice knives knew guy. welcome to the club.

hell yeah!

i'm doin way better (or worse dependin how you see it) than you guys. i've been at it about as long as jai. only one khuk. two straight knives, but i think i'm givin up the rare and beautiful d-1.

How big is that AK? 20"?

Mike
Yup.
A $70 20" AK.

:D

Like I said, I stole it!

But it was a "blem" . . . ;)

Edit: looking at my pictures makes me realize something:
NEVER take pictures on the rug when you are dry-walling!!!
I promise, our rug isn't that dirty! It's a $20 Home Depot special that we just didn't move!!!

Great collection, thank you Strobengh
