I always like to see pictures of slip joints, so I felt it was my turn to post some pictures. This is my half congress that I carry and use often. I really like the bone on this one.

I can certainly see why you like the bone on that one...it's simply beautiful.
Great pics too!

Great little knife:thumbup: I like the 52 pattern even though I was never much of a congress fan.

Thanks guys for the kind words. If the sheeps foot was a clip point, I think I would have my perfect EDC.

Thats a nice one JW . Always good to see pics of the older red bone, especially in a pattern that doesn't get shown much.

If you would like that one to have a clip, find you a nice pen knife. I know its not the same handle shape, but it would give you about the same size and blade configuration you want. Besides, its a good excuse to pick up another knife :D

Nice Case !! These are great little knives. Slim and light. Perfect to carry in your "Sunday go to Meetin' Clothes".

I have two of the newer models with two back springs. The pull and snap is a little on the soft side. I love the pattern and need to look for an older single spring version.

That's why none of us can find any of those sweet pearl FRs. Greag's got them all.

Beautiful knives John and Greg. Those two blades on one spring make a great carry. Gotta love the sharp swedges and the fluted bolsters on the FR.

You're making my beloved Case peanut mighty mighty jealous! I really wish someone would revive this pattern, making sure to put on carbon steel blades and a sub-$60 price tag.

Nice one that Case red bone. I like the sheepsfoot and pen combination and it is a slim carry.

A Schrade and a Camillus

Too bad Schrade decided to leave a shield off on this pattern. It looks a bit naked. A small bar shield would look good here. Greg's pearl has enough contrast to pull it off (I'd take a nice shield though), but the jigged delrin could use a boost.

Since the half congress is one of my very favorite patterns, I think I'll lay a few down for you guys.

Case XX 62052 - this one has been in grave danger of being carried for a while - it's just too sweet. However, it's also very minty, thus a dilemma.

Miller Bros half congress in french ivory - 3 5/16" closed, iron bolsters, brass liners. This one I do carry. Wonderful swedging and sweet snappy action.
