As I had promised Aleko to post some photos of my knives, here they are;

I have taken a few snaps of my new Sebenzas. One is for the shelf and one is for work :D
I'm a photographic novice, so please forgive any errors I may have made. I've tried my best :p
I'd like to mention that these knifes take things to a new level for me. Funny I had always imagined how a knife should feel when opening and closing in my mind. I had never experienced it - until today. This is the blade and mechanics I have been looking for :eek:

Also, a big thank you to Neil. The service which I have been given has been simply superb. Lightning fast and very professional. Cheers to him

Snake wood and gold is very dapper. Too bad the other one has to just sit around on the shelf collecting dust. :eek:

Yeah right :p

I mean to carry the Snakewood, but it will be on a big occasion, and I don't have many of them :)

The funny thing is, as everyone had said who commented, all are born equal. Both my knives are the exact copy of smoothness, finish and lockup. WOW :eek:

It took me over thirty years to get here :footinmou

Where is the drooling smiley when I need one?? Those knives are absolutely beautiful. Especially that fancied up rig. :eek: :D ;)

Wow... Very nice pictures, especially for a novice. And that wood Sebenza - not too bad of a start. I know you said you were getting a Snakewood one, but you didn't say you were getting the one. I must have been looking at that knife on TNK every day for past couple of weeks, but I just couldn't justify spending that much on one knife. Very nice! I'm a little jealous. :)

Thanks Alex. I had a bit of a fuss getting them online :( but all's well, now !

The Snakewood is as attractive as I had imagined it. But, I suppose, all woods are - if properly used. It's about personal taste. The Limited Edition burl models have some splendid examples of woodwork, don't they :eek: I'm really looking into a burl model :rolleyes:

As far as using everyday goes, starting later this morning, I'll have the Sebenza in my trouser pocket :)

How could you take anything else ? The workmanship is faultless

Those are some great pictures from a novice! The gold inlaid snakewood is especially nice. Congrats :)

Nice pictures, Roefisher, and a great start to the Sebenza collection!

Is it just me, or does this picture look like there's a huge gap between the lock face and the tang? I know it's not real, but it just looks that way to me :rolleyes:

Matthew

Hello Starfish :)

Definately NOT !! :grumpy: ;)

I can see from the picture that it looks that way, but it's just the shot angle. Here's another picture, which I have taken, to show it better;

The very thought :barf:

Much better! :D

Good job on picking a nice pair of knives! I like the gold inlay -- really adds some class to the classic inlay pattern :)

Cheers, Starfish :D

The Snakewood has an excellent grain, and matches the inlay well.

I am looking at a Walnut model. Boy, that is a beautiful wood, too :eek:

If I'm lucky enough to get her, I'll post some pictures, so show the finish - That is my main attraction to these collectable ones. But I am carrying as well :p It is every bit as excellent... ;)
