You lucky, Fowler owning bastids! :) Truthfully, the Pronghorn isn't the Fowler that gets my blood flowing. My favorite is the big one. When Ed gets around to making one of those monster bowie/camp knives is when I get fired up!

Heres a picture of my Fowler Pronghorn. Its not the best picture in the world but it will do :)

Before anyone starts taking up a collection to get Jose his first Pronghorn, maybe he'll tell the story about him watching as Ed finished up one of those beauties. ;)

Thanks guys this really helps me want one more. Great pics. Hope you guys don't mind but I copied these pics to view at leisure. I just watched Ed's video and all I can say is WOW.

I've been trying to alter some images of my Fowler bowie knife that I wasn't able to post previously. I think I finally figured it out...
This is the knife I had the priveledge of watching Ed finish. It was almost complete but I was able to watch Ed perform just about every step of the knife making process on other knives he was working on.
Watching him work really gives you more of an appreciation for his work. His blades really have a lot of depth to them and he gives each knife an equal amount of attention until they are just right. It gave me a sense of how important all the steps in the process are. At first it was the forging process that fascinated me but Ed really gave me a new understanding of the grinding process and how important a role the shape of the knife plays as well. One detail that really stands out for me is the point he puts on his blades.
Thank you, Ed!
