A very good friend of mine here on the forum seen this knife on an auction site and knowing how much I love the Umnumzaan snagged it for me. (THANKS AGAIN PAUL) It is BNIB and I thought I would share some pictures of the packaging (and the knife of course) with the CRK Forum. I must admit its a good package that is well organized and keeps everything safe during shipping. But I think I still like the older packaging better. It is what it is. Change is good if done well and I think as usual CRK has done a great job IMHO.

P.S. I AM STILL LOOKING FOR AN EARLY SMALL SEBENZA 21 (PLAIN) 2008 OR EARLY 2009 MUST BE BNIB OR LNIB IF IT COMES WITH ALL THE ORIGNAL STUFF!!
 
I've wondered what the new packaging looked like, thanks for sharing! I dig it! Nothing wrong with change, and grats on the sweet Umnum.
 
Thanks Chuka!! Yes, the packaging is done very well and protects the all the contents during shipping.. which is exactly what it is supposed to do. As mentioned in another thread about the "New" Packaging it is a little hard to get the genie back the box after it has been removed.. That is if you want to put it back exactly as received. But for most folks I don’t think that’s much of a problem. With the older boxes, prior to around 2010 the knives came wrapped in tissue paper, and then with the introduction of the blue fiber cloth the were nicely wrapped in it. But with the "New" box I don’t really see the need to keep the blue cloth with the knife and by removing it is fairly easy to get the rest of the contents back into the box. The box is however made of a thick glossy paper instead of the cardboard used on the earlier versions. Not near as sturdy..

Thanks for sharing,really like the new packaging looks more presentable.If CRK can only find a way to put old pivot Umnumzaan in the new box that would be great.:)

Looks like someone has been busy again with the Umnumzaan... "CRK Wilson Combat Umnumzaan. Old pivot"

You guys sure are fast on these when they popup. Right after that a large regular popped up. I can't press the keys fast enough! Congratulations on a fine looking Umnumzaan!
