I'd like to see some pictures of knives that have been used...hard! I'm just getting into knives so mine are all relatively good condition. But I love the rugged look of a well used knife. It gives it character!

Yes!!! I'm lovin it! It's probably gonna be awhile for me :/ My oldest knife is my BM Mini Grip 556, which is only like 2 months old (Yeah I just started getting into knives)!

Well, I do have one beat up blade, but its a no name machete. This was before I got into knives or knew anything about them. The wear and tear does look awesome though!

I was only even able to find it again by searching my posting history in this subforum.
 
Big Mike, what is that knife? it looks like a beautiful knife, i bet its a heck of a slicer.

:confused: What knife are you referring to?

Top to bottom:

Koyote Knives custom Alaskan Camp Knife.

Jim Stewart custom Kukri.

Bark River KSF Custom Bowie.

Bark River custom Clax.

Bark River custom Rio Grande Bowie.

And the Final two are a pair of new old stock Herder blades,

...the top one made by Bark River,

...the bottom one homemade. :cool:

Here's a Buck/Strider 889 SBMF and a SOG Trident both of which have been retired from duty. You know, neither of these knives have a very good reputation on this forum but I am proof positive that these blades can take alot of use and abuse and still perform darn well. I'm in the construction field and believe me, I put my knives through the wringer.
