Just thought I would post some pictures I took of my new SOG Revolver Hunt 2.0.

This is a really cool little knife. It is a whopping 7.8 inches total, and weighs only 4.4 oz.

It comes with a leather sheath, built in diamond sharpener and a double cut bone or wood saw with gut hook.

The grip is amazingly comfortable.....I really like this one.

Looks good Robbie. How is the lock-up on this one? I know the original is well proven, but I am just curious.

Robbie, Thanks for the pictures! I'm looking forward to when I can get one. It's not in the cards this month. Maybe in a few. Please keep us posted on it's used.

Having the Guthook with the saw, looks to be a really good change and that handle looks really comfy. My Revolver Hunter is one of my Go to knives.

retzius, this knife locks up really well......and I mean VERY well...........solid.

This knife is going to surprise everyone I think. It seems solid, tight and has almost 0 blade play.

Of course as I said 10 years ago with the original Revolver. This hybrid design has to have a certain amount of movement for the lock pin to enter at such an angle as it does. This lock pin goes way through the blade and opposite liner to securley lock as the original model does but this one seems super solid.

We never ever had any problems out of the first models for 10 years and this one seems every bit as good with several improvements and so compact you won't believe it.

I really like it, and I am thinking anyone that looks and handles one of these will take it home. It is just simply too much knife for the cost ratio to not have one or two in your bug out bags or hunting gear. I 'm not kidding about this, I think it's that good of a knife that most people who look will get it.

Wildmanh, I hope your feeling better, and I certainly hope you can get one of these......as good a SOG Revolver man as you have been, I wish I could send you one, I think you will really like this one............:D

Robbie, thanks for the update. Sounds like SOG did a Great job on this one as well. Personally, I think the Revolver Hunter and Revolver Hunt 2.0 would be great sellers in my area. Hunting and fishing are the County pass times around here. I'll have to snag one and take it and my Hunter into the local sporting goods shop. Maybe we can get a new dealer down here. . . The Hunt 2.0 would probably be a hit. At least, everyone that see's my Revolver Hunter thinks it's cool. The neighbor tried to swipe it last spring. he he he.

I'll keep you posted as to when I get my Hunt 2.0.

Not cheap at all.........this design has been proven for 10 years.

It is a very useful and dependable knife.

Thank you for explaining what you meant, I appreciate that. :)

I guess the handles do not look expensive, but they sure do feel good in the hand. It is a rubber overlay and it feels very secure in the hand. I think this knife will be a great user for hunting or camping.
