Pictures, Symbols and Characters by your screen names!

Click on the user cp button above and first on the left.

Then click on the edit options button. The lower half of the page will have options and a place to enter the avatar of your choice.

As for finding an avatar and entering it, I searched using the word "avatar", and eventually found near enough to what I wanted. Once I installed it, I wiped the search. There are a bunch of folks on here that can help you better than I from this point.

I'd like to do a little commercial or rather a public service announcement for the Support forum. That is the only place to post bug reports -- Spark won't see them anywhere else. It's the place to get help with any kind of technical problems you're having. It's a cool place.... :)

Uploading an avatar, once you have a suitable picture, isn't hard. If you have any difficulty finding one that both suits you and is small enough, though -- and you probably will -- you have to edit the picture you like to make it smaller. That requires a jpg editing program and at least some basic skills.... I would volunteer to edit a pic for you, but there are a lot of guys on this forum who know more about it than I do -- I can make it smaller, but they can make it smaller and also make it look better if necessary, fool around with contrast and things like that. I'm sure somebody will volunteer if you need help.

Come to think of it -- can any of you photo editing hotshots make my cougar look better??? All I did was shrink it ... that's about all I know how to do. I'll upload the original here and if anybody feels like playing with it -- hey, it's an opportunity to show off your skills! Maybe some Hollywood mogul will see it and "discover" you! I should run a contest ... like the Famous Artist's Correspondence School. :)
