Yesterday I melted both my SSRs and blew 2 fuses on my heat treating oven, while I await the arrival of new ones I want to figure out how to further cool my electronics enclosure. The SSRs were attached to heatsinks however the box they are in is sealed at does get too hot. I keep it closed to keep dust out and when I run the oven I open the side, yesterday I forgot to do that.
My idea is to use a simple pc fan to cool the box however I can't figure out how to wire it and the Auberin phone support kinda just laughed me off.
I have 220v coming into my oven, it goes into the PID and to the SSRs, I think I could tie a fan into that 220v line if I found a 220v fan. I think I could also tie a 12v fan into the PID output to the SSRs but I want it to run all the time not be turning on and off. I asked about other powered terminals on the Auberin SYL-2352p PID on support with Auberin but they didn't really understand and just said no, are there other powered pins on the PID like a 3.5v out? Is there any other simple way I am overlooking on how to actually power a fan with the existing setup and not have to add a 120v line in or a large dc transformer?
Is something like this the best option, just tie this into the 240v on switch? https://www.amazon.com/GDSTIME-Cool...d=1&keywords=220vac+fan&qid=1622562302&sr=8-3
