Hello everyone,

I just got a brand new Spyderco Endura. Great knife. I'm sitting here behind my desk showing it off to a colleague. I was just commenting on its sharpness when I drop it. It falls with the point first, cuts through my pants and .5 cm into my leg. Ouch. Talk about a rookie mistake

Needless to say, my colleague was impressed

(by the knife as well as my clumsiness)

Just got back from the toilet cleaning off the blood. Thought I'd share my story.

Spyderco rules.
Have a great day.

Some people will do anything to recruit another Spyderco fan!

I think you should have ended your post with:
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!!

Hope you heal fast!

Well I managed to stab my serrated Spyderco Endura through the front panel of a used LevelII "bullet proof" vest a couple years ago, wish I'd saved the pics!

well its a good thing you didnt drop one of Tom Johanning's knives on your leg.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold the great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads...And His tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Welcome to the forums.

I think a lot of us here can relate to that. I know I've been bit by the Spyder a few times. So, is your co-worker picking one up now?
