I second it as well.... Mine wasn't closed by anyone other than ME... I closed it so I wouldn't have to listen to people crying because I called someone out.

Calling a guy on behavior is one thing, name calling with it is a bit juvenile. Dissention is more distressing than old threads in my book.
 
I do have to say it's annoying, especially when the threads are past Ganzaaaas or offers. Just clogs up page one of this forum.

Much more polite to start a single new thread and link to the old ones IMO.
 
I think it's okay if someone is looking for specific information. It's annoying if it's done just for the hell of it.
 
I really wished the forum software displayed not only the name of the thread starter, but the date the thread was started. It would circumvent a lot of silliness.

No. There is no implication about immaturity, whatsoever. The only implication is that they are making an issue out of a non issue... which is accurate.

Yes, but by then you've opened the thread. I mean it would be nice if on the forum page with the list of threads next to the name of the thread starter it had the date it was started.
 
I have rather enjoyed some older posts dug up by "looooooooooong" time HOGS, and others, from time to time. It's cool to see a bit of Busse history, limited runs, or interesting topics.

That being said I get a little frustred when a ganza thread pops up for no apparant reason. I even sent Jerry an email one time trying to score some "Ergos" at crazy prices only to find out it was an old ganza. (Very funny in hind sight and my fault for not paying attention. ;)

Perhaps if the resurrector could post a "why" he pulled it up it would ease the blow for those that are irritated by it. Lots of good stuff are burried in the archives. And although the "search" function works quite well the newer guys may not know what goodies are burried. So sometimes its a way for the Hogs to teach the Piglets.

Now back to my regularly scheduled INFI fix. :)
 
Pig Roast??

I thought that was gonna be the entertainment at the Induction Dinner, like the old celebrity Roasts.....
