Hi Everybody,

Made a couple more pig skin covered kydex sheaths the other day.

One in Green with black splats (it looked too boring just green)

and one natural, as I was holding the sheath working on it, I noticed it looked wrinkled much the same as my hand
very human looking.

The front side got a green mark from the green sheath (must have had some dye on my hands ?) so I splatted it with black, cool looking effect I think.

What do you all think ?

Also if you get a little dye on the leather or pig skin, say you have some on your fingers, is there a way to remove it ?
Or do i need to be more careful ?

Thank you everybody.

Well...you are a Hog afterall...

I like the sheaths, the leather really set them apart from a typical kydex sheath.

Is that tan on/showing through on the green one (in the last pic)?
*Edit - maybe just an effect of the light? It's in the first pic, too; but over a greater area.

Cool as usual, David!! I'll see you at Blade again this year .. no conflicting show.

I wondered about covering Mora sheaths with thin leather. The sheaths are practical, but not very "bushcrafty". I might have to try gluing some pig suede I've got to one just to see what happens. Neat idea:thumbup:
