I frequent this area of the forums quite regularly but don't post much. I have enjoyed all of the fantastic work displayed here and am happy I can contribute a little. I mostly make sheaths for my own knives but on occasion I make sheaths for other knives.

A little while back a forum member shot me a PM about making a sheath for his Fiddlback Bow Legged Chopper and Bushboot. That seemed like a good challenge so I said sure. Then he explained that he had some requirements. It needed to have a Bushboot piggy backing it, have a baldric carry rig that holds the knife on a slight angle for cross draw carry and he wanted a drop leg attachment just in case.

So I went for it and this is what came of it. It was one of those designs that just came together and worked. To make it more challenging the chopper called for an open spine design which complicated things more.

Any comments and critiques are welcome.

Thanks for looking!

In the end this was a fun challenge and I am very happy with the results.

Brother,
You knocked it out of the park with that rig, absolutely stunning man clean lines and stitching, just perfect, great job

Absolute design excellence! A well thought out project and finished perfectly. Your client should be doing backflips with delight......and you should be very, very proud of your work.

That is a real nice design and well executed I like it.
And it is just plain cool:cool:

When I read the requirements I couldn't imagine how you'd make all that work harmoniously, but you knocked it out of the park.

That is very nice work. The design and execution are flawless!

What's your average turn-around time? I could definitely see sending the few knives I make if they come back so nicely dressed!

Good work bro.
I live down in South Ogden and have a few sheaths I need to have made.

I will shoot you a PM when I'm ready and you can decide if you want to make them or not.

Do you make knives also?

Nevermind, found it on your sig.

PM sent
