I had a request for a camp knife and skinner combo set but the sheath request had me guessing for awhile. The request was for both knives to have individual sheaths that could be carried seperately but that could also be connected to each other to be carried together. I worried over this one for awhile but finally came up with this...........

I still have to punch a couple of holes in the tab at the bottom of the sheath for a leg tie down. I realize my leatherwork still need a lot of work but this should be serviceable anyway.

Thanks for looking and any criticisms are welcome and encouraged.

very interesting . I've been toying with the piggy back carry idea also . I would like to make one suggestion on your design . Move the snap strap on the larger knife up around the top of the handle , a wrap around strap . That way it would not be in the way of the small blade and would have easier access to unsnap . Just a thought .

I like your idea about moving the strap. I don't know why I didn't think about the keeper strap for the larger knife being in the way until I had finished everything. I'll definitely do that on the next one....I just wish you had been here when I was figuring this one out.

I have had a few people request piggyback sheaths before but they are difficult to do well I think. At least for me they are. There is just an awful lot of bulk there when they are finished. I like this one in that both knives can be worn seperately.

Thanks for the suggestion.
