Great work Brian! I wonder who the lucky owner of that new rig is..... BTW the story behind that NO varient is as follows....
At first, it was your average everyday NO CG..... after carrying it on a couple of deployments, I noticed a few areas that I wanted changed to improve the overall versatility of the knife..... I talked to Jerry on the phone and let him know what I wanted done, and around nine weeks later, well, you see the results! The slight harpoon tip was not originally planned by me, but gives the knife a little added flare. Can't really say that this is a GFD, or that Jerry did the work himself, but I can say that it is a GFM Grinder Front Modification worked under coolant to preserve the temper. I think That Jerry/Jerry's Kids did a great job on the knife, and now Brian has improved it's clothes a whole hell of alot!!! The Emerson Mini-Comander likewise has been carried on several deployments after retiring the Emerson CQC-7 I was packing before..... It has served me well, and will likely continue to do so since it seems Jerry will finish his folder around the time I'm too old to use it!!!
