My first post to this forum was in March, announcing my order for a Leaner Meaner (satin w/ paper micarta) from the Company Store.
It showed up and I fell in love, I thought I may have finally found the perfect knife (yeah, right
)
Just to make sure, I surfed around the forum and Ebay and picked up a few other pieces for comparison. Even while I was working in China last month, the boxes kept showing up at the door, my girlfriend was/is beginning to think ... well nevermind.
So after much comparison, the Leaner is the perfect EDC for me, and the most elegant
piece I own. The craftsmanship is incredible, it cuts as well as my Military, and takes abuse like nothing I've seen, I've even managed to put a few fine scratches in that beutiful satin finish.
So here's my here's my collection to date and a picture of my Leaner, with pants from Eric (got one for my ABA also) which started it all.
Some of you may recognize some of the pieces, you owned them once
