A couple of years ago, I was on ARFCOM and they had the SS Scope Group Buy. I passed. Kicking myself today for that. I forget what the costs were, but they were well below retail. "Nahhh. I'll get one more scope for my 308 later." DUMMY!

BTW - one-shot, right? You only get one bullet at a time, like your brother Don. ;)

True - I only have one bullet, so I only give 'em one shot! :) You can see the exit wound, didn't plan that for the photo... I use a .308 so I don't have to 'chase them'... I hate 'chasing them'... :)

And those SS scopes are great glass at the price - I just sold my last one - I find I need variable power more these days, and if they ever make a variable-power SS scope, I'm all over it!
 
I too, in the spirit of the times, could be bribed......
