Hello Hogs, piglets and INFI worshipper's!

I just aquired my second Busse: Cultellus. I made quick test how it handles wood and i have to say Cultie with convex edge gives any good puukko run for its money. It my oldest puukko easily in wood test. Here's some rather poor quality quick pictures. I'll be adding better quality pictures bit later:

I have to say I love the feeling of Cultie and its very comfortable knife. Quite different from my Game Warden but very nice. This baby is going with me next week when I go hike natural state and protected wildlife forrest next week. Not that I am going to use it but only fool would go without blade into forrest :D
 
I got 3" Game Warden and 3,5" Cultie. I want 5" Busse and 7-9" Busse aswell. I got good alround utility knives. Now I want some... More heavy duty Busses. Anything from wood chopping to defend your home from invading hordes of living flesh eating zombies.
 
I was surprised how good the Cultellus feels, but after handling Karen's at Blade, I'm definately looking for one. Nice score. :thumbup:
 
WElcome ! I think you have the nicest Busse slicer made.... It is one of the best game/woodcraft knives. Now, these knife abusers around here have jokingly reffered to it as a steak knife, but it is much more than a steak knife:cool: I love it.

Its basically a .125" thin SHMS with a satin blade :)
 
except I'm probably very soon wearing that satin finish off. I don't like safe queens and even Cultie with Game Warden are my most expensive knives ever, I plan to use 'em hard. Though cultie is thinner than my GameWarden I probably not baton it as easily as I did with GameWarden (which took it like champion).

Busse's are hard user's and I plan to make my Cultie and GW to earn Busse reputation for every sent. I find Cultie also perhaps bit more... people friendly than my black coated rather thick GameWarden. Very puukko like appearance.

The Cultellus is a sleeper. This is one of the finest edc's EVER designed.

I think the Cultis are great, one I had one in-hand I couldn't believe I waited so long. Thin, straight handle, great size... pure win!
 
Congrats!! I too just received one today from a very cool Hog and I agree with everything said so far. It will be my EDC once I get a sheath for it:thumbup: I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these:confused:

It will round out a (3) piece combo with a CGBWM & TB:thumbup:
 
I just touched up the edge bit. My cultie has convexed blade, convexing was done prior owner. I just tad touched up with strop and such. It really is mean slicer, even after some wood carving and cutting thru wood still shaves off hair like a pissed off laser:
