Thanks everyone. I originally designed the knife so I could either grind it as a pikal or a tanto. After I made the first one, I decided I could combine the two. Most people seem to want them single edged (for legal reasons I suppose), but I sharpen both sides sometimes. I bring the grind of the "tanto side" down a bit further if I do a double edge version.

I’m digging those grinds, and Im not a Pikal guy. But thinking hard about the reason not to own one right now. Haha. Very nice knife.
