  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Pile of aged Birch broke a knife but not a Rat

So my wife decided that I needed to split down some old Birch we had laying around so she could use her fire pit. I was splitting it down Thursday night when I snapped the tip right off the knife I was using, then Friday my gift came in the mail, a lovely RMD CG in black canvas and tanker grey (I am soooo happy to own an RMD again). So yesterday I went out to the pile and began to beat that Rat like it owed me money. Of course the only damage the the Rat was coating wear, for anyone who has any doubts about a Swamp Rat they truly just need to try one because some of the Birch I slammed that RMD through would have made most people stop and go get an axe, but the RMD ate its lunch.

Cool reading, PatrickKnight. May you never be without a trusty Ratmandu again. Ain't they fine? Hope I never have to, but, if I had to trim down to one knife...
