Yes... this is a good pile on regarding CRK and its service. I bought a used large Classic a while back that needed some work. I have access to a bead blaster so I took it apart a blasted the scales. BTW... thanks NCBlades for the bead blasting tips. You were right it took minutes and looks new. Took me longer to put it back together.

OK... back to the service. Well... I sent it in for some blade work and to replace a worn out clip screw. Here's what I got.

Expected -- Shaving sharp blade, replaced screw.

Unexpected -- Crisp new Sebenza Box, Relubed and silky smooth action (much better than how it was after I put it together, in fact I suspect they may have replaced the washers), new flawlessly tied lanyard (I had an old one, but I sent the knife to them without one), and I had the knife back in two weeks from the time I sent it.

What I paid -- shipping.

Now a lot of other knifemakers would have done about the same. But who would have put a fresh lanyard on or turned it around so fast? -- not many. Admittedly, this stuff doesn't cost much for CRK, but it makes and keeps customers.
