Well, I've never had much love for the 110, except for the special editions out there. I had a custom shop 110, with real nice damascus blade and stag scales. I had a Ranger that someone removed the wood scales, and put elk horn on. A couple of your standard 110's from Wally World. Never kept them.

After seeing 334dave's 110 collection at the Frederick Knife Show, the chipflint 110, and just recently the legacy 110 from SMKW, I made an impulse buy tonight at WM. Kibbles and Bits for my boys, tuna fish for me, and a 110 for pimping. Found a 110 with a box, their last one (everything in clampacks :(). I was excited, hoping to find a 110 with a leather sheath, no luck. I did have a 110 though.

I want to drill a lanyard hole for it, get thumbstuds for it (I know those are hard to find), and hopefully get someone to pimp the blade to look like the chipflint series. I'd like to switch the scales out too, maybe put some kind of embellishment on the bolsters. I should be able to find a Buck leather sheath at a gun show.

I'd like to send it in to the custom shop, if they even still exist.

Factory leather sheaths and thumbstuds both have been on ebay recently.

You stand a chance of damaging the knife drilling a lanyard hole. Talk to a lot of the guys first, if you haven't ever done that before.

there is a way to put a lanyard ring thingy
threaded in to the ss spacer on the rear bolster
and i would recommend that before drilling
many a knife has been trashed by trying to drill it !!!
yes leroy can do the chip flint ..
