Hi. Because I have too much time on my hands today, I thought I would post up some glamour shots of my new Shallot. Those stainless scales were begging to be polished, so I obliged them. That and because they would match my watch that way.
No, I am not really that vain, though I do try at times. Anyway, here we go. Sounds like the Shallot doesn't get much love here anyway.
Now that it is done, I think I liked the blasted finish better, as it did not show dust and fingerprints as badly. I also think the job could have been much easier if I could get the blade/pivot apart so the scales could come apart. Thanks for looking, and if anyone can let me know how to finish taking the knife apart, I would appreciate it.
