Thanks for looking! This was my first attempt at making new scales for my Mini CQC-15.
It was a great learning experience and i'll be making some more for sure.
I also polished the liners for a little extra pop.
The next set of scales may be Black Linen Micarta

SIDE NOTE: The high spots in pix 4 & 5 were fixed after I saw the pictures

Absolutely beautiful! The scale colour really compliments the black blade well. Did you get rid of the point where the tanto meets the belly when you sharpened your knife? If you ever decide making more, I'd love a grey one for my Mini 15 :D

Cheers

Thank you Cosmos!
Actually i didn't touch the blade itself...but as i look at it, i think the previous owner may have "disappeared" the point where it goes from belly to tanto when he sharpened it.
Funny you mentioning grey scales.... I plan on making some black canvas micarta ones. Once sanded they look pretty gray :D I"ll post some pix when they get done.

i think they are talking about the glass breaker

Oh, sorry... I spaced out for a second. Not sure where the previous owner got it..... I'll have to find out, I would like a couple more myself.

Update on the glass breaker... It was previously a thumb stud for Benchmade 913, the previous owner did a nice job getting it pointy.

I had to comment on this thing again. This knife is freakin sweet! I may try to make some scales and im sure gonna try to add a glass breaker to my 15.
