First I'd like to say that Emerson makes great great knives, I've owned quite a few and the HD7 is still my fav.It comes from Emerson perfect, but there were just a few things I needed to do to mine to make it perfect for me...
Bought this HD7 last fall.It came waved and with serrations.I'm not a fan of either so first it was off to Tom Krein for a regrind, De-serrated, and de-waved.Tom did an incredible job, as always.
Now the only thing missing was some new cloths and a stone-wash.So off to my good buddy Geoff(Tuffknives).I chose Ghost Jade G10 and man he did a really nice job.The fit and finnish is incredible, The G10 and backspacer line up perfect, no uneven edges and the screw holes are nice and tight(no space between the screws and G10).
He also gave it a very nice SW that matches the Titanium.Overall the knife now has a better feel in the hand, the G10 gave it a nice contour that fills the hand nicely.Plus it just plain looks cool!

If anyone is in need of some great scale work,TuffKnives is another great addition to the army of pimpers here on the great BFs!!!
