Weight reduced to 132g.....

Regrind by Gareth Bull with cute mirror swedge & customized G10 scales & liners.

Perfectly centered tip.

Rounded & polished the ball detent shoulder and polished (using dremel tool with poly diamond spray) all friction contact areas, pivot & spacers - silky, super smooth deployment now.

Now to resharpen.....

...more to come...

was this regrind recently done or is this old (assuming by the date on the blade it was done recently). If he's still doing regrinds for buddies and not completing his back log that's pretty crappy.

Man you are modifying that S110V Manix like you have a vendetta against it. That regrind makes it look like an entirely new knife, though. It should slice like a monster.

Now one thing I don't get... The gaping hole in the middle of the handle? What? Just for cool looks? I like, I just don't get it.

Probably to reduce weight as well. The FFG Manix balance is handle heavy and with the regrind it was probably even more so. Bet it feels good now.

That looks great MR! He did a great job on the regrind too! I like the mirror swedge look... it sets it apart!

can you take pics of the thinness of the edge? how thick is it now? I am curious what you had it reduced down to...

I too am curious how thin it is behind the edge. Bump
