Did a little maintenance on my Brous Bionic (version 1.0).
I smoothed down the jimping and sharp edges on the aluminum scales, and smoothed down the jimping on the lock bar. Then I took a small buffing wheel and mag polish to put a mirror surface on the rough metal the bearings run on. Polished the pivot and lubed it up with nano oil. It now flips with no misfires or torn nails or flesh. It will flip by light switching or push button. 100% improvement. How it should have been out of the box.
Sanded the flats with a course DMT Diamond stone. (The fine/Xfine didn't even scratch it)
The coolest happened when I went to a 3000 chosera stone to polish out the diamond scratches. Instead of the aluminum getting shinier, it turned to a smooth light grey. Like it had a fine bead blasting.
