Pimped my Kwaiken today.

Dope! I dig that color scheme! I saw one of these while searching for a Cold Steel knife, and I must say that I probably would have gotten this over the other if the carrier still had the Satin finish version in stock. I really like how this is a flipper.
This was my first time visiting the Boker subforum... and I was bit surprised at how quiet it is here compared to other brand subforums.

Any honest opinion about this blade? How about Boker as a brand it self?

This is a pretty cool blade, it's a fun flipper on IKBS. I didn't like a couple of things: first, when the blade is closed, the edge is very close to the back of the handle (you can see it in my pictures), and if you slip off of the flipper you can land on the handle hard enough to get some meat of your finger in there and cut yourself.

second, there was no jimping on the flipper tab, making it easier to slip off. I used a Dremel and jimped my flipper tab, and have had no problem since then.

Other than the design issues, fit, finish and build quality are very good.

As far as Boker as a brand I have no complaints. I also have a War Toad, which is excellent in the fit, finish, build, and materials. I also have a Jens Anzo designed, Solingen Germany produced Minos which is very excellent in all aspects, and I would put in on par with any high end production folder, and higher than a lot of them.

Very Nice!

thanks for sharing

the new tactical kawiken has jimping and the mini kwaikens do as well, huge difference

This looks fantastic! I'm stuck between considering this and the CF just so there's the possibility of DIY anodizing!
