With Cuscadi scales...crappy pics, but they are nice! They take a really functional blade to the next level.

Only downside, I have the BM stop pin rattle now!!! Arrggg....took it apart 3x working on it...now trying to decide if it will break in, put in lock tite or maybe a little oil. It's too damn good good looking to sound like that!! :grumpy:

Very nice!! I have some cuscadi scales on order too. I went with bead blasted contoured cf micarta with a blue glow in the dark "reptilian" back spacer. I'm SUPER excited to say the least...

Wow that looks great.

As for the stop pin, I wonder if you could put some grease in it? Something to stop it from moving fast enough to rattle, but not stopping it from moving, as it needs to move to wear even. Never tried it, as only one of mine has the rattle.

Thanks guys- the pics do not do the scales justice in the least. The texture and feel of the micarta is great and the looks are out of this world.

I have been opening and closing it a ton with no decrease in the rattle. Next try will be a little oil.
