Seal has done it again, Don and I got to talking a while ago, and this is the end result of the conversation...
This was a two bladed Trapper ( with a Wharnie secondry ), but Don pulled it to bits, made it into a single bladed knife ( and very nicely too I might add ), and added the Stag scales as well, also of course that great filework!!
Folks..please forgive me, the photos just do not do this knife justice, I had a photo session today..and boy...it got hot!!, so I wasnt hanging around out there so much!
Thank you Don, now I would like to add, that I know a couple who are great people, and my mates wife suffers most terribly from chronic Arthuritus..its shocking how bad this brave lady even continues to face each day....well...she loves knives!!...and when she saw this, she freaked, and was able to open it! and she just adores it :D

Zeta is her name, her hands are very, very bad, and this knife is something that she never has had before, I felt terrible leaving with the knife-as I hadnt got round to taking any photos, so Don my friend, I would with your blessing love to give this knife to Zeta, she is lovely, and she more than deserves this knife, your skill has made me VERY happy, and now you will make an awesome lady extremely happy.
Please forgive the photos...

That looks fabulous! Don, great job! Duncan, you did a very kind and noble thing, giving this knife to the lady. Great knife! - Ed

Fantastic work on th knife, and even better for you to part with such a treasure you waited for and longed for throughout conversion.
Your humanity is a example to others on how to serve others before yourself.
Duncan you are truly a good man. I feel humbled by your actions.

Peace.

Hey there guys!!, ..sorry I havent replied yet-just got out of bed :)

The Wharnie is Exactly what I wanted = very cool.

I tell you...this knife has such great action, and its an easy open, you can pinch it open - which is the only way Zeta can open a knife.
I had no idea of the extremety that horrible disease hits you, ...she can actually get her wrists and they move up and down like they arent attached , and they cant operate-as they are scared that the bone wont be solid enough-and they wont be able to stop amputating!!!...and then of course what ALL the drugs do to her...whew....so guys its not a hard thing to do that for her :)
Don has done a brilliant job on this knife...Im sad to see it go, as I love to carry it, but giving it to Zeta, and see her smile is pretty damned cool.
Thanks for the comments people, and have a great day
Thank you Don.
To the people here in Traditional, I have dealt with Don a couple of times, and he is a Legend, so thank you.
