If I wrote CRKT on the title, I might not get as much hits. Sorry CRKT fans, that's the truth.

This is the CRKT S-2. Titanium handle and ATS34 blade. Blade has been waved and clip has been flipped by our own STR. Great work STR! Thanks. The wave is large enough so that it can be easily opened with your thumb.

The handle has been zebra-stripped by yours truly.

Enjoy the pics and the rest of your day.

Total cost to me $95.

Nice knife. By the way, what type of chain is that in your first pic? I have one that looks just like it made by David Yurman. Just curious if that one was made by him or someone else because I like the design. Thanks.

This necklace is inspired by David Yurman. Check-out http://www.justmetal.com/storefront/product_info.php?products_id=237.
I love the way it looks, but not willing to pay Yurman so much for a metal that is not considered precious.

Thanks for the link. I agree that Yurman's stuff is overpriced. I actually got mine in the Cayman Islands on my honeymoon. I do like that titanium.

Damn, that's really nice! Excellent job on the customizing. Love the stripes and the 'Wave' really came out well. Makes me want one! :)

Nice job bro.
Been thinking on further modding my Prowler.

Nice knife too.

Looking good. Glad to know you like it. I must admit it was a pretty flawless knife. I had not seen one of those before. I was pleased with the way the Wave acts as a replacement for the thumb stud. You won't miss that stud at all.

Nice additional mods.

Wow, that's nice. I like CRKT knives and you just made it even better. Nice mods.

I guess I'll never know how good a waved knife is until I get one. What's your favorite Steve (and anyone else)? I'm going to try one out.

I have many knives that are waved. Each one of my EDC are waved. You are right. You have to try a waved knife. I am guessing that you don't want to spend too much on something you might not like (I'm sure you'll love it). I would suggest purchasing youself a Cold Steal Zytel Ti-lite. Make sure you get the newly released ones if you can. I believe they upgraded the steel to AUS8. Cold Steal (do I keep writing that?) "borrowed" the wave from Emerson. A good price would be about $50. I don't usually recommend Cold Steal (dang, my finger slipped again!), but it is a great knife and I don't mind helping out a forum member. The Ti-lite doesn't have a lot of utility to it, but it is well built and very smooth. Plus, the wave worksvery well. Good luck to ya.

My personal favorite Waved knife is my BenchMade HK34/14200 with the clip point blade. I put new black Micarta handle scales on it and added a grip strip of some skid guard material on the thumb side for ease of extraction. The Axis lock makes it the smoothest Wave I own. The draw back is that the knife is nearly $150 new. I kind of covered up the Wave in this one shot. I also bead blasted the clip and all the screw heads from the black finish they had from the factory. I like the contrast better now.

This little CRKT worked out great and some of the Spyderco knives like my Blue Rescue that I Waved are also quite nice and very reliable as well as easy to operate.
