Hi Everybody,

Did a little work on one of my skinny ASH's with my 2400.00 knife sharpener (KMG grinder)

Sharpened Top Swedge about 1/3 of the back strap, for back cuts

I was going to strip it but it looks pretty cool with the coating still on it.
Besides I can always strip it later.

removed magnum handles

put skinny tan handles from a regular ASH on it with tube fasteners.

Had my friend make me some tube flares since I could not find any.

**** I will do a give a way later for a set for all you busse pimpers.****

I really wish this would have been an option.

For my big fat meaty hands this makes it the perfect fit.

What do you think ?

If you had human hands, this wouldn't be an issue!!!!

Shaking hands with Dave Brown is like trying to hold four 55 gallon drums in your hand at one time!!!! :D

Nuke On ! ! ! !

Jerry :D

Hi Pot .....My name is Kettle :D

What is that D guard that looks pretty wicked in that last picture???

Dang that swedge looks nice. I was thinking bout having one put on my Skinny Ash as well. Now it looks even better than I imagine it. Bet it took some weight off the blade and made it more nuetral? Probably better balanced now as a fighter? Just curious cuz I am thinking about having that done or doing it myself.

i'm now jealous since you have one with standard slabs. the skinny was the only knife i could stand mag handles on, but i would have preferred standard. nice work on the swedge too

I like it a lot. Very cool...Looks professional to me.
I, as those above, would also like to know the story of the knife with D-guard in the last picture.

I like it, David! (Of course, probably too big for my little lady paws...:p) Nice job!

looks great David. I would consider doing this to one of my Ashcg's if i had more than one (ha). I definitely makes it more fighter oriented.
