Hi Gang. A friend is going to replace a handle scale and liner on one of my CQC-7s with a solid piece of G-10. Not my Red. this will be cool. Pix will come.

That sounds good man. I've though about a similar project but I worried about losing the second detent so I have never gone for it. I presume the lock bar detent will hold the blade closed if you make a dimple for it, I also don't want to try it on one of my knives first so let us know how it goes.:thumbup:

It would work on the HD knives as they are just G-10 on one side any way. I've been wanting to do a one piece scale and spacer for my 12 for some time but have never got round to it.
