AWT makes some very nice scales. Transformed the look and feel of my 551.

Wilkins Grips...LOVE the titanium ones but can see how the large versions would be too heavy/bulky for many people. On the small they are perfection in my opinion.

DLT Benchmade | 551-1701 Griptilian is 14.23, stock is 16.26.

yuccaknives on eBay makes some nice titanium clips that are reasonably priced. They go great with the finish on these Wilkins scales.

Photoman pretty sure the large Wilkins/Ritter you have was one of mine, I can tell by the bead blasted finish on the scales and back spacer.

The Flytanium are the nicest titanium scales I have had for aftermarket Grip scales.

I will probably stick with the Wilkins on these because I like them a lot but I might pick up some Flytanium for my other Mini Grip. The AWT scales are nice but I just prefer titanium. I already swapped out the large AWTs. The Flytanium scales on my Morphos and PM2 (copper) are very nice.

Edit: Looks like Flytanium is only available for the full-size Grip.

Wow the ti scales are nice. So many choices its hard to choose.

I like Wilkins. Been using the Emerson skull clips on mine. Also really like Cuscadi. Got one coming with AWT scales,first time trying them.
