in my continued attempt to "lighten the load" a bit for summer carry (I did start a thread about it weeks back), I went ahead and ordered a Benchmade 707 last night to replace the heavier folders I usually carry. so now I'm curious who on here has dressed up their 707?...and where would a fella look for help if he decided to personalize the little Benchmade? pics would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Lee

Other than getting new scales, none.
It's pretty good as is.

that's kinda what I was thinking, the scales are the first and probably only thing id like to eventually replace. ive seen grips and mini-grip pics on here sporting aftermarket scales as well as a couple other Benchmades that I now think were 707s and they definitely caught my eye.

I absolutely LOVE Ivory Snake Juma.

Very, very nice. :)

very nice...excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is kirinite? :o

It's kinda like a plastic but also like a resin. Not really sure how to explain it lol.

And those ivory snake scales are just awesome, been wanting a set just can't decide what knife to do hahaha. Got a 943 and 480-1 they would look great on.

I first found Juma (Golden Dragon & Ivory Snake) 2 years ago almost to the day.
I was scouring the internet looking for some new & interesting scale material to use.......found it! :D

I've never seen a material that more completely transforms the look of a knife than Ivory Snake Juma does. It's really spectacular. Looks like it came off an albino rattlesnake.

Keyman those scales are awesome man!!

I couldn't agree more

I should have the knife early next week, so thank you VERY MUCH for posting all those pics Keyman, I now know who im gonna be in touch with when its time to dress the little Benchmade up.

I have a 707-705 hybrid with a M390 707 blade, a 705BW wood handle, custom perforated PB washers to mimic the ones from the CRK Sebenza, black hardware, custom standoffs to replace the factory spacer, and hopefully soon a titanium clip from STR anodized to match a green zirconium and copper bead I have on the lanyard, all carried in a William Henry style clip sheath made of shark skin.

I carry this knife more than anything else. I absolutely love the 705 LE handles, but also love the 707 blade more than the 705. The M390 707 blade is just plain badass and I have it on an angle far lower than I would ever do on one of my 154CM 707's, and still it holds it multiple times longer with usage.

I hope to soon make a custom one-sided thumb stud for it.
