Today I have a few guys here at my house running a new 20 amp dedicated circuit for the stereo. The system was pulling enough juice that the lights would dim when I’d turned it on; I guess amps that put out 2,400 watts are going to do that.:o :o

So after I made them some espresso I showed them the FBM LE and the Fat Sage FBM. The electrician that I have known for a few years, that we all just call “Sparky”, said “Hey I know those knives. I saw them at a gun show about six years ago, but they were expensive… like a few hundred bucks”.

So I ran back here to the computer and printed a few sales thread for SHBMs going for over $1,000. I think he has almost stopped crying now.

He’s a good guy and he’s trying to trade the job in part for one of my Fat FBMs.:thumbup:

1.21 jiggawatts is about the right power for your amps, crank it up and i'll step outside n listen.

You must have a huge room, really inefficient speakers or neighbors you hate.

Good idea! If you can use your entire apartment as the sound box...well, it could be inspiring!

Funny. Sounds like my experience with an HVAC guy. I suppose 'pimping' goes with 'INFI' more often than most realize.

2400!!! That's rediculous!!! I've only got about 1500 running in my car and you can hear it from about a block away if I've got it cranked!!! It takes 2 power capacitors (5 farad) to keep me going :p.

You hear my car.....you'll never hear Freddy Mcgreggor, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Barrington, Dennis Brown, Toots and all that great stuff sound soo good!

There are many many things that only happen in San Francisco. It is a big world and I like having a lot of it available. ;)

I think I can see Tony in one of the Critical Mass events here. Next to the guy in the plaid shirt.
