Hi all,

Just got my B11 about a month ago, from a good guy here (Grunt Soldier).
It came to me in a well stripped condition. I want to use it as daily tool here.

It's been quite long for me waiting to have a B11, as it blade shape reminds me about our Golok, Indonesian most used knife, and well, it is well known as a very tough blade out there..

After some chopping with this beast, I just didn't feel it right!!! sorry guys, but I couldn't say this Res-C handle is comfortable (I like the other Res-C better - B10, DF, 711, 911).. I felt that the Res-C on the B11 just too hard and skinny in my hand..

SO... I decided to transform it into a Golok!!!... my concept is: an Indonesianized B11, or simply: an INFI Golok...

Then here we go.. I contacted a knifemaker here, who's been well known for his artistic finishing on knives..

OK.. let's the photos talk:

- B11 - Unhandled + a sketch form my friend about the handle..

actually I thought it was better, but then I asked him to make a little mod, by pushing the bolster a bit forward.. why? I just don't feel it is OK to handle the knife too far from the edge.. It has already had large choil + that large hollow guard..

so here is the new proposal:

as you can see, may be my idea to push the bolster forward looks odd here, as we have to cut it at the bottom to preserve that Busse Hollow guard trademark :D

we filled the tang's hollow (it became the locking pin for the handle).. then add a lanyard hole at the rear top end..

- ETCHING... yes, now we can see an artist work here.. but it hasn't completely finished yet..

It's mighty Purdy for sure! But the B11 is my favorite user, and well, I've got some mixed emotions goin' on right now.

Best looking B11 ever!

Thanks all for your comments..
I am happy you like it..

Hi, brother Kuliarang.. the pin now is a solid pin, inserted in where the rear lanyard hole was there..
