Does anyone know a name for this type of pin or assembly mechanism? I looked for "slotted", "locking", "shouldered" to no avail. Thanks.

Swindon key system, used a lot by old timer.
Is that same name used in a non-knife context? I am trying to avoid attempting to make these pins myself, so I was hoping it was a common type of pin I could find in a variety of dimensions.

Added: I should probably give more details in case it matters: This is used in a "hobo" knife consisting of separable fork, knife, and spoon slipjoint components. This attachment mechanism is what keeps the components together.

The simple way to make one is to use a bolt. thread the tang and run the bolt in as far as needed. Grind off most of the excess and either TIG the bolt in place or use a pointed punch to spread the ground off part and freeze the shank in place. File/grind the head off to the thickness desired. A fine pitch hex or Torx head bolt is the best shape to work with. Also, thread the tang hole tight so the bolt is very snug as you screw it in.
