Pin placement

I am working on my 2nd simple knife while my 1st is off to HT. I have the blade just about complete but have a question on pin placement for my nickel silver bolsters. Since I'm new to knife making I thought I'd check with the experts.

In the picture below you will see where I am guessing the pins should go, but am unsure. I have four 1/16 nickel silver pins that I am planning but am not sure if this is the best way to go in the narrow area. The narrowest point is 11/16.

Is 4 small pins the way to go, or is is better to do 2 larger pins?

The image below is just an image created in Photoshop. Just my way of sketching out design ideas.

Thanks for the info. I'll go with two pins. One pin to the left and one to the right I assume ( one centered close to the blade, other centered by the handle)? When I say close I mean the same distance as my red dots but just one on each side?

Two pins will be enough.1/8" is about the right size.1/16" would be too thin.Nice drawing!
