I'm sure this has been addressed before somewhere (probably about a million times), but I'm too darned lazy to search...

Do I need to pay special attention to what screw and backing comes out of what holes, or are they all equally proportioned such that it doesn't matter what order they are replaced upon re-assembly? I'm guessing the latter, since I got them mixed up today yet everything went together just fine.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

It doesnt matter. You can also turn the bolts and screws around so the screws face the back.

If memory serves me correctly, I think the clip screw is a little shorter than the rest. Look inside your scales and see if the screw is protruding past the bottom of the scale, that'd tell you for sure...

Like I said, I could be wrong...

I knew the clip screw was a little shorter, and I didn't even take the clip off when disassembling. It's a good thing, because as obvious as it might have been, I'd have probably messed that up too!

The screws and backings are approximately the same length per my caliper. I did turn to screws/backings around on my Pheasant Tail, which in my opinion looks better considering the satin-finished front ti slab w/graphics.

Thanks to all!
