Hit a garage sale this morning on a whim and found what appears to be a pine knot cutlery tear drop jack w/some type of celluloid inlays set between two bolstered ends and I think a bow tie shield. Could be a counterfeit... I don't know, but for a $1 I won't be too upset. I will post some pics when I get my phone back. Maybe some of you guy's have some info.

I had a small old Pine Knot jack knife once.I sold it on the exchange, here on BF's.It had black comp. scales & a real firm snap.Nice old & neat little knife.

Without a pic I can't say much but sounds like a Pine Knot jack made for Belknap Hardware Co by Imperial Knife Co circa 1920's to 1930's.

Yeah that's about what I found out about it. Not too much info around, I have to get my phone back so I can take some pics and upload them easy. I appreciate the responses guy's, now the only question is do I a: polish and sharpen it up...carry it around for that vintage vibe or b: leave it just the way it is and put it into the "top of the dresser" display rotation?

Well for only a $1 I guess it doesn't matter what I do with it.
