Hey Throm I saw a thread a while back and you had just purchased a Extra fine DMT. Now that you have had it for a while any more thoughts?

Ya, dood - it's an overpriced stone that uses #8000 mesh diamonds to leave a 2000-3000 grit finish. A Shapton 4000 grit Glasstone, while requiring slightly more maintenance, costs less and does a better job. Their 120-1200 stones rule and I've heard great stuff about their paste (even their 3 micron/#8000 mesh paste), but that stone ain't worth the money or break-in period.
