So I was scrounging around some shops here around Portland, OR and found this knife. It was tucked on a knife shelf. I noticed immediately what it is, didn't think it to be too strange until I realized Benchmade doesn't even catalog an mini-infidel in this color. I'm going to take it to the factory store tomorrow and ask what they know of it, It certainly doesn't seem like a fake. The lock up is tight on it, action is great, blade play is usual from what I can assume, handles look to be a milled aluminum anodized in pink, button is a milled metal. the pocket clip logo looks to properly have the weathered font. the blade has the correct looking logos and US patent nos, but are the same as the one listed up on the Benchmade site as the black one. Any thoughts? I thought maybe it was a special one they made. Either way as long as its a legit mini-infidel, i feel i made off well. I'll update tomorrow as I find out what they say at the factory store.

And in the pictures, its looking a pit purpleish but it is in fact bright pink.

That's hot! I guess someone could have bead blasted the black off and had it anodized...

It is just the picture, or is the tip broken?

They'll sharpen it up for you for free, or offer to replace the blade (at a HUGE discount). I've had two blades replaced by the factory and it only cost me 30-35 dollars each. BUT, the Infidel blade has the sear-block assembly at the base of the blade, so plan on more... They can quote you a price before they do the work. Plan on not having the knife for a few days. They'll ship it to you for free, or you can pick it up when it's done.

Keep this thread updated with what happens! My Mini Infidel was my EDC for about a year before I got tired of sharpening the chisel-ground blade.

alright so i took it buy, they were looking at it and it first looked suspect due to different location of US patent marks, but it turns out its actually because its one of the first batches of mini-infidels that came out, looks like the anodizing is after market as they didn't say anything about them having an issue of those, its currently sitting at Benchmade getting a spa treatment, the people over at BM are awesome!
