Pink coumpound what is used on and what buff

i have seen and heard about no scratch
pink compound and was wondering if it was good on stainless blades and nickles silver
and also what is a good buff to put it on

Nathan,
I use either an 8 or 6 inch sewn muslin buff, wide, not narrow. I prefer to use the 6 inch wheel. This cleans up all the green.
