Hey, guys! My little sister (15 yrs old) has been carrying around my 50/50 Delica and she loves it! She can draw, open, and close like a pro! She's in town staying with me for two weeks, and saw a picture of the Pink Delica on a website I had up (Blade art) and fell in love with it. I would love to get her one, but I would also like to get a good price on one. Does anyone know who still has these in stock? I'm going to call Bayou Lafourche and Blade Art tomorrow to see if they still have some, if I strike out, is there anywhere else I can check? I would really love to get this for my sis, like I said she loves my regular Delica and carries it constantly when she comes to visit. It would be cool to get her one that she picked out for herself, ya know?

Saskatchewan/Alberta's spydie distibuter... I saw the pink Delica in the case on the 10th, so I know he has one.

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the responses. I couldn't find one from my usual sources, but Bayou Lafourche had a blue one in stock, so I ordered it for her. (They shipped it out today, so it should be here tomorrow or the next day) I wanted to get one for her fairly quickly so she could carry it while she is visiting. I'm still going to try to find a pink one for her, and maybe surprise her at her birthday!

Flinx, if you haven't found a pink one yet, check with Ayoob's Armor of New Hampshire. That's where I got mine a few months ago. They no longer list it in their catalog, though, but it wouldn't hurt to check with them. I paid $55.00, if I remember right.

Also, I think Ronybear was still trying to sell one about a month ago on the for sale site here. You might email him to see if he still has it. I didn't see it sold, but then, I had mine! Worth a try.

BTW, I don't carry mine much due to the '98 design allowing destruction of the unreinforced FRN at the edges of the clip base. If the clip turns a bit it hurts the FRN. Mine is in semi retirement for that reason. Maybe a 15 yr. old girl will not be as hard on the clip though!

Also, at the American Women's S-D Association seminar I just attended, Michael de Bethencourt had one of the old design pink (actually more "mauve" or "dusty rose") Delicas on him (along with a black Matriarch). I drooled, but didn't dare ask him if it was for sale.

And yeah, I was just thinking about adding the possibility of Mr. Jensen having a few left because I saw them on his site when he mentioned having another discontinued Spydie on another thread. At a good price, I might add...

FYI, Armor of New Hampshire is at www.ayoob.com and their order dept is at 1-800-624-9049. I'd try other places for better prices, but their book and videotape selection is pretty good and I don't think you can get some of it anywhere else.

Go with Mr. Jensen for the pink Delica. Now you got ME thinking about ANOTHER one!

HEY JOHN JENSEN, GOT ANY PLAIN EDGE PINK DELICAS?! :D

Thanks for all the replies guys! I just received her Blue Delica today and she loves it!:D Thanks Safety Guy! Mr. Jensen, you may receive a phone call from me anyway tomorrow! I think a pink one for one side and the blue on the other may be in order!

Frank, Flinx & Karl - thanks for the support, we appreciate it.

The Zytel clip, plain edge pink Delicas were discontinued in the early 90s and we haven't had one since 01/96. Spyderco did not make a plain edge in the new style.
