Pink Spyderco w/black blade

Has Spyderco ever done any Pink FRN/G10 knives with a black blade?

I saw a PM2 in the FS tonight with Pink skulls duracoated on to black g10 with a black blade.

Go ahead make fun of me... :p I'll be man enough to admit the pink with black looked kinda cool. It was definitely a color combo you never see.

Just curious if it was a color combo ever from the factory on some previous model.

I've seen the pink native, pink jester, pink delica....
 
I don't believe that was ever made. But I do agree that it would look pretty sweet and make its way into my collection if it ever gets produced.
 
It doesn't have a black blade but the soon to be released Pink Squeak is on my buy list. You can always send the blade off to someone for duracoat or ceracoat, or do it yourself.
 
To answer the first question, no, Spyderco has never made a Pink handled black bladed knife.

As far as doing it yourself. You can only do it on some knives. Knives like the pink native are pinned thus making blade swaps nearly impossible. Also, as mentioned above some knives might come in pink but not another model with black blade. Unless of course you go the into the modding world.

You can do it with the Manix2, Delicas, Endura.

Nothing wrong with some pink in the rotation.
 
I love orange, but pink is just too girly (for lack of a better word). Doesn't have a black blade, but the Mannix II also comes in pink.
 
I wouldn't mind getting a pink handle and black blade. I do not think it has been made either but I would buy one and it is supporting a good cause too.

The nice thing about pink is most guys think this same way making the color a nice deterent from the knife walking off. Plus it is something other than black.
