My wife has expressed interest in a BK17 for Christmas. I've been looking high and low for some pink scales for tweener size knives. Something like G10 would be nice.

Does anyone know of any?

pink liners would look sweet under the stock black scales.

Then after you've done the liners, find some pink glow in the dark ear spike stretcher thingys, trim them down, drill holes in the scales to fit them into. Glue them in from the underside. The liners and the inserts will look more subtle than the entire handle being pink. But if she's deadset on pink grips, buy her a BK10 and get the pre fabbed ones from KABAR, or Dex.

There are a few custom maker guys that do handles. Iw as gonna say TKC but they dont have any pink Becker handles, only Esee, and the Becker BK-14 no tweeners or full sized

I really like the liner idea. Tweeners are a little thin adding some hot pink liners will really stand out. I think a nice way to make it hers would be electro etching something she likes on it. Maybe a flower or an animal maybe a nice "i love you". Electro etching is fairly easy same with the pdb etch.

I wonder if JD/710 could snag some Beyond Wood Products blocks in pink or light red and work something up? Couldn't hurt to ask.

Or pick up some pink G10 yourself and make her some! Would be a fun little project. I haven't held a 4 for a while - looks like TKC's pink ESEE scales would be a little small for the tweener. I don't see pink for the 5/6 or LS.

Come to think of it, it's a tad dark, but I have a pair of tweener-sized Shadetree Composites Ruby micarta blocks I may never get around to using. If you can find a craftsman willing to work it for you, I may be persuaded to part with 'em.
