Pinning Folder Bolsters

I normally solder my bolsters to the liners, but want to try pinning them. When pinning do you use an adhesive to hold them in place while they’re drilled and pinned?

I have watch the Sheffield Knifemaker do pinned bolsters.

He just put in a pin and used no adhesive.

Anything you put between ge bolster and the liner will make a gap. Pin the bolster directly to the liner. If you want to seal it up, wick in some thin CA after it is pinned and filed clean.
